TIPS to a lasting tree

Your fresh cut tree will drink lots of water for the first few days to one week.

This is the adjustment period to being indoors.

Once adjusted to indoor conditions, your tree will take up much less water.

If you are able to get your tree trunk into water within 1-3 hours of cutting, there will be a good uptake of water.

If your tree is cut for longer than 3 hours, it will have started to heal off the wound and should be re-cut (just a slice about .5 inch will do the trick).
